Somerton Physiotherapy first engaged Ciaran McKenna from WoodHazel Consulting back in October 2019. Ciaran’s brief was to provide sales and development training to four staff members.
The main goal of this training focused around “Developing a 10 year+ client”. In other words, someone who comes to the clinic, has a positive experience and becomes a lifelong client.
Over the past six months Ciaran has worked diligently with all staff members to achieve this goal. He has carried out numerous 1-2-1 meetings and development centres with all employees, providing effective personal training and development. He has set goals and targets throughout the process. Selling isn’t something that comes naturally to medical professionals, but Ciaran was able to break down these barriers.
Over the past few months, I have noticed an increase in confidence in team members around selling their skills and our services. This in turn has led to an increase in clinic revenue. I have also witnessed an increased togetherness within our team – especially evident over the past few weeks.
